About Us
Created in 2023 by Alex Croft and Ernesto Romo, the In-Situ Acute Care (ISSAC) Program was created to address an increasing need for teams training within the Barnes Jewish Hospital Emergency Department. We have grown our team across professions and disciplines to best serve our patients and our providers in the St. Louis Area.
Our goal is to improve patient care quality and safety, and to provide all healthcare providers with an opportunity to grow as clinicians, leaders, and people.
